Due to a conflict with the Apple Veterans Golf Tournament also being held on Monday, May 7th we are changing the Council's Member's Only Golf Tournament to Tuesday, May 15th.  Also, due to a lack of interest we will not have a shamble type team format include for each foursome.  The tournament will be played as it has always been played.  Each player will play their own ball and will turn in their score based on their play. Following play return to the Hall and turn in your scorecard so the winner can be determined.  The Callaway scoring system will be used to calculate each player's adjusted gross score, which will be used to determine the winner. (SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION - THIS IS NOT A TEAM SCRAMBLE FORMAT TOURNAMENT.)

 
Member's Only Golf Tournament play will NOW be on TUESDAY, MAY 15th at Iron Horse golf course in North Richland Hills.  We plan to have a shotgun start at 8AM, with a 7:15AM check in time. The tournament fee will be the same as last year, which is $45 per player.  This fee includes the play plus range balls prior to tournament, plus burgers and beer back at the Hall following play.  To hold the tournament we must have a minimum of 16 players.  We will have to pay a deposit soon for Iron Horse to hold the date and time for our tournament.

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you will play as a deposit must be paid to Iron Horse to save the date and time for our tournament.  Also, please provide your entry fee to Mike as soon as you can, so Mike can be reimbursed for the deposit he must pay to hold the course for us.

All players / foursomes must be identified at a minimum of 48 hrs. before tournament play so that the people at Iron Horse can have the carts staged with the appropriate players name on each cart.  We look forward to everyone having a wonderful time and hopefully having fun playing and getting to know some council members you might not have had the opportunity to play with.  Again, let us know as soon as you can that you are playing and get that payment to Mike.
