Council Announcements

We've had a very busy year and our organization should be very proud of the impact we are having in our Parish and in our Community.  Here is a list of our activities.  I apologize for the long delay in getting this done.

Successful Events and Thank You's:

  • The Frankfort Fall Fest was a huge success and the new format with Parmesan's taking over the responsibilities of managing and manning our food tent while the Knights managed and worked the main tent grossed us the highest revenue we've ever had.  So many thanks are due to so many people but the biggest thanks goes out to Gene Kalinowski who spearheaded the format change and managed the volunteer process.  Thanks Gene.  You are a rock star!
  • We complete the year working 5 (maybe 6?) Texas Holdem events and we were able to generate some new volunteers this year but the events are still primary worked by the same group of Knights.  The revenue that comes into our group is significant (more than any of our other events except for maybe the Fall Fest's new program) and 100% of all the revenue goes to charities.  The program is managed by Tim Mack who has been nothing short of phenomenal.  Thanks Tim for everything you do.
  • Our Christmas party was held on Sunday 12/4 and was great time.  The food was catered by Parmesans and was exceptional.  A special thanks to Mike Papandrea of Parmesans for a great meal.
  • And last but not least please take the time to say "Thank You" to Tony Gies, our Grand Knight, and All our Officers and Volunteers who give so much time and effort to our Council and events.

Upcoming Events:

  • TBD

Please let Steve McGarry know of any events you would like posted here.  His contact info is: 312-771-2522 (Cell) or Email:
