***URGENTLY NEEDED: SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE OVER MANAGING THE COUNCIL WEBSITE AND PUBLISHING THE ANCHOR NEWSLETTER EVERY MONTH. CONTACT GK TIM MCBRIDE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.***
Monday we will continue our change-up in our meeting time. To promote visiting men to our Rosary, we will switch the order of our evening. We will begin at 7:30 with the meeting. At 8:00 sharp, we will say the Rosary. At 8:30 we will have conversation. For future meetings we plan to have guest speakers beginning at 8:30.
This week, however, we will review portions of the new 1st degree that has been distributed by Supreme. We encourage all members of the 1st degree team to view this video together after our rosary. We will decide if we will continue to do the first degree or if we will opt to use the video instead.
Future meetings will feature guest speakers followed by discussions that will be opened to the public.
We will hold a meeting to discuss our budget for the coming year. We hope that the entire board and all voting members consider attending the meeting. Please contact Tim McBride to express your interest in attending the budget meeting. firstname.lastname@example.org
We held a Parish Membership Drive at Holy Cross Parish the weekend of (March 16-17). We believe we encouraged several men of the parish to join the Knights and we plan to continue on with a drive at each of our parishes.
A Respect Life Prayer Dinner will be on April 9th. The dinner brings together church leaders from around the area to pray for an end to abortion. It is run by St. Joe County Right To Life. Please consider attending wearing Knights apparel.

This Marian Icon (attached to email) will be available to our district in May. The Marian Icon prayer service is a featured Faith program of the Knights of Columbus and the current icon is the 18th in a series sponsored by the Knights. We are reviewing a day of Marian Icon prayer services. The prayer services can be held as the council or parish event. We have had services conducted after Mass on Sunday and after weekday Masses. There is plenty of flexibility. Our district is scheduled to have the Marian Icon for the month of May 2019.
Remember, Monday’s meeting will start at 7:30 and the rosary will be at 8:00. If you haven’t been to a meeting in a while, come on down.
We have 3 more Fish Fry Fridays. Please plan to attend for a great meal or, if you can, work with your brother knights to serve the food. Steve could always use the help.
PS- We need someone who can take over doing the Anchor Newsletters every month and maintaining the council website. Please email me if you are interested.
