ATTENDANCE: COUNCILS PLEASE SUBMIT A LIST OF CANDIDATE NAMES, COUNCIL NUMBER AND NUMBER OF MEMBERS ATTENDING TO EVENT CHAIR, RAFAEL VILLARREAL BY Monday, February 18, 2019.


 


COUNCILS WILL PROVIDE AN ADMISSIONS DEGREE KIT CONSISTING OF A ROSARY, A KOC LAPEL PIN AND A "THOSE MEN CALLED KNIGHTS" BOOKLET FOR EACH CANDIDATE.


 


CANDIDATES MUST PRESENT AN APPROVED MEMBERSHIPAPPLICATION (FORM 100).


 


MEMBERS MUST PRESENT CURRENT MEMBERSHIP CARDS TO BE ADMITTED.

Have candidates there by 7:00 P.M. - Degree work starts at 7:30 P.M.

Complete registration includes a complete degree kit presented by a council officer to the host council registrar. A complete kit consist of the following: completed form 100, KofC Rosary, KofC lapel pin, "These Men They Call Knights" booklet, completed Membership Card. The Candidate's form 100 will be returned to the council officer once registration is complete and the Candidate's council will be responsible for submitting it to the Supreme Council.

If you have a Catholic friend or family member who might be interested in joining the Knights of Columbus, please invite him to join by contacting your Membership Director and/or Grand Knight to arrange a meeting with him as soon as possible. As a fellow Brother, please make every effort to attend and support the candidates who will join our brotherhood at this time.

Knights of Columbus Council #7371 in Burkburnett, TX will host a Knight in a Day Admission, Formation and Knighthood (1st, 2nd & 3rd ) Degreee on Saturday, February 23, 2019 .


 


This Degree will be held at St.Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 600 Davy Dr, Burkburnett,TX 76354



Schedule of Events:



8:00 – 9:00 am Mass at KC Hall in Burkburnett
9:00 – 10:00 am Registration/Breakfast-Continental Breakfast
10:00-11:00 am Admission 1st Degree Installation
11:00 – 2:00 pm Conferring of candidates into the Formation and
Knighthood and 2nd & 3rd Degrees
2:00 – 3:30 pm Knighting ceremony followed by Meal


 


The dress code for the day will be what you would wear to Sunday Mass, but please no shorts. There is no cost for the meal to the candidates. The cost for members and guest will be $5.00 per person. Remember that the Fort Worth Chapter is a leader in the state for tradition and this event will be considered as such. We are expecting a minimum of 30 candidates. Councils be sure you have all Form 100s , Medallions , Rosary kits and your Councils Constitutional Roll . Please be sure at least one or more members from your Council is there to escort your candidates.
